Findings: Reading for Critical Writing

A diverse anthology of essays, short stories, and poems, Findings is designed for composition classes that emphasize reading, writing, and thinking as inextricably linked functions of the inquiring mind. Each thematic part begins with an orienting introduction followed by the readings. Three brief primary texts first provide different perspectives on the theme; then, roughly 20 selections follow, each introduced by a biographical sketch of its author.
