True Romance

Author Al'Tonya Washington has written a beautiful, true-to-life romance story that is not your typical "boy meets girl, fall in love and get married" romance novel in Finding Love Again. Her characters deal with real issues in relationships, not sugar-coating it by making up after a spat and falling between the sheets. Ivan and Lawrencia DeZhabis' had a wonderful marriage. Ivan was the man of the house, meaning he made the money and his beautiful wife stayed at home to tend to the needs of their little family. But after some time, Lawrencia began to feel a void and the only thing she knew to fill it was to have a career of her own. Despite the heated protest of her husband, Ivan, Lawrencia went ahead and launched out on her own. There was no effort in finding a job because it found her. She was very beautiful, so it was no wonder a modeling agenct saw her, fell in love with her and offered her a job with no modeling experience. As Lawrencia's modeling career soared, her marriage and relationship with Ivan suffered horribly. Once they separated, it did not take Ivan arguing or begging for his wife to return. What was so wonderful is that they never lost the unconditional love they had for each other, their attraction and craving for the other's presence did not lose luster either. But realizing that their problem was never between the sheets, they were finally able to find love again once they could talk through their problems and recommit their love for one another. Finding Love Again is a beautiful romance novel that does not end exactly like we expect it to. good book, just not what i am use to.

I liked this book very much, but i wasn't feeling hero very much at all. Lawrencia and Ivan story was one feel with tense emotion. Lawrencia wanted to become more than a housewife, and have a career, while Ivan her husband wanted a stay at home wife that he could control. Lawencia was determined have her career which almost ruined her marriage, but fate intervened throught well meaning loved ones, who helped this couple find there way back to each other. This is usually not my type of romance novel that i like to read but the story was good, along with the antaganist enemy of Rencia's who was jeolous of her and wanted to ruin her marriage and career, this what had me hooked into the book. The love scenes are hot and steamy. I do intend to read more by this author.

Finding Love Again - Great read

Finding Love Again is a moving love story in which a couple must deal with the past and future in order to truly be in love again and be better at it. Jealously, misrepresentation, sex, miscarriage is in this love story. You travel from Brooklyn, New York, New Jersey, Atlantic City and London to get the flavor of the story. Ms. Washington has done a great job in bringing warmth on a cold afternoon. Sit back and relax.

Finding Love Again- Great Read

I enjoyed reading Finding Love Again. I thought it was a wonderful book. It started off a little slow, but once the story heated up, I couldn't wait to get to the next page. The love scenes were exciting and sexy, and the storyline had me hooked. I'm a fan of Ms. Washington's previous book, Guarded Love, and I'm sure you will love this book also. I give it 4 stars.
