I have been a believer in Jesus Christ for about thirty years and faithfully serve the Lord, and love Him with my whole heart. I attended Bible School and earned a Bachelors Degree in Theology. I have been reading through the entire Bible for many years and I regurlarly study the Bible. In addition, I read many other books and I am a writer myself. I am also an avid believer in speaking out God's Word aloud and confessing it over my life. I have had and continue to have, many glorious experiences in the presence of God's Holy Spirit and they have all been beyond what words can describe. You might be wondering why I am sharing all of this with you. I have made it a habit of "Checking In" with God on a regular basis, and by that I mean, I ask the Lord on a regular basis what I need to change in my life, in order for me to go to grow in my relationship with Him. On one of my more recent "check-ins", I asked the Lord how I could revolutionize my life. As soon as this question left my lips, I heard a whisper in my spirit: "Renew your mind". The first thing that popped into my mind was: "I thought that I had a pretty good handle on the renewing of my mind". But after hearing this whisper in my spirit, I realized that I did not have as much of a handle on it as I thought. If I did, why would I be prompted to renew my mind?
