Everling and the Balefire Monster

By J. Christie

The attack of the Acid King has shaken Balefire. With the school beset by public outcry, increased evestry involvement, and holiday festivities, the students must also contend with a morosely distant director. Amidst turmoil within his own friend group, Chezzy finds himself forming an unlikely relationship as he learns more about his everling heritage. And what will be expected of him in the future. But when a school dance is cut short by the monstrous abduction of a classmate, the everling discovers that finding the missing student will mean confronting a flood of disturbing memories and worse implications. With dwindling options, Chezzy is forced to put his broken trust back into a disobliging Aris Kepler before anyone else is taken by... the Balefire monster.
