"Enchanting Tales for Quizzical Kids" is dedicated to my eight grandchildren - five of whom (Sarah Quinn, Griffin, Devin, Ryann, and Connor) live in London, while three (Sean, Drew, and Lauren) live in Orinda, California, which I also call home.

The stories in this book were created primarily for London's ten-year old twins-Quinn and Griffin. However, most were run by 13-year-old Devin who, being 13, seemed to enjoy them but felt that at 13, she was a bit too old to require bedtime stories. The rest, older still, have enjoyed my stories only by reading them as I put together this book.

Nonetheless, I dedicate the book to them as well as to Quinn, Griffin, and Devin as they have endured my storytelling over many years while they were younger and have fallen to sleep to my singing on many occasions.
