"God seems to be more in the business of giving you what you need in ways that will shape you into who you're meant to be." Jude and Caroline were a delightful couple, so similar in their perfectionist ways and both hurting from never being enough. Their conversations were witty, snarky, and totally enjoyable. I loved getting to know the McGuire family better. Caroline's insecurities as a physician assistant in her hometown were valid, as were Jude's insecurities from childhood trauma and comments from social media. Jude had a lot of growing up to do but he rose to the occasion and discovered grace and forgiveness. The problems he had with his career did not get resolved by the end of this book but I'm hoping that we'll get a glimpse of Jude in the next book of the series. Redemption is a charming little town everyone should visit. I received a complimentary copy courtesy of Sunrise Publishing. I was under no obligation to post a positive comment.
