What a read!

Miss.Freiman should have wrote more books.I read 2 of her books dealing with fiction plus a pinch of magic.The book was great.I could not put it down.Though i do not read romance novels usually but only fiction books I must say this book is a must read.It connects fiction with romance perfectly to my surprise and utter delight.So if you can spare some time for this great auther who only has 2 books out.=0( =0P

I enjoyed this book and am glad I purchased it.

You will remember Ray and Renata a long time after you put the book away. I guess all of us have wondered what life would have been like if things had happened differently. This is the chance to see. It was fun seeing, what we would have considered a really "cool" guy from the 50's trying to cope in present times. We forget how much times have changed, music, clothes, language and the roles assigned to the sexes. It was very touching the way all the sub-stories insected. Good character deveopment with the nice nostalgic twist for those of us who were there.

Ray was to marry Celeste. But on the night they were to run off together. Someone shot him and he died. Now, thirty-odd years later he wakes. It is Halloween. Renata and Melissa were unpacking Melissa's belongings. She was now the proud owner of the house. Renata was an Assistant District Attorney out to prove Frank Dane is guilty of several crimes. Dane had excaped justice for over thirty years. Renata was going to bring him down. Everyone in the past who was to testify against Dane suddenly ended up dead from accidents or natural causes. Now Renata was the target. Ray wants to find out what happened to his love, Celeste. No one can find word on her. Soon finds she had Ray's baby and gave him to friends to raise just before she suddenly died. If she is dead, then how come Ray only thinks of her when he is holding Renata. HOW he, a ghost, could hold her at all way amazing to him. He could not touch anyone else. Gabe was head of the police force. He was also Melissa's love. Someone ran him down one night and Gabe was put into a coma. He could hear everything, but could not move. He knew he HAD to wake up. He KNEW who was driving the car that tried to kill him. Everyone he cared for was in danger. This guy had been killing people for years and now wanted the people he cared for most dead. ***There is so much more to this story. I could not fit it all in. Ray was definately an angel on Earth.***

A rare and very poignant romanc
