Just what I expected

This book is just what I expected. Just what Carol says it is. It does have similarities to her other book, It's Just my Nature. But she has added more enriched content just for women. There is no way you can learn to Dress your Truth in a book. But you still learn a lot from this book and can even start with a couple of her suggestions. Also, when you enter the Carol world you get loads of support, it is a great company devoted to changing lives. I loved this book and am going through it again. I am also quoted on the first page. I have been given permission to be me! On the inside and out. You won't be disappointed in this book or any of her books. And after you read it, if you feel like going further the online course is absolutely worth every $297. You will save that much and even more when shopping.

Life Changing Book

I think the negative review of this book which says it is only an advertisement for the full Dressing Your Truth course is very unfortunate. Yes, the book does invite you to take the full course; but, you get so much valuable information from the book that you definitely get your money's worth. My daughters and I have adopted Carol's beauty system and found that it set us free from today's fashion myths and stereotypes--free to be and discover our inner beauty and power as women. Since the book teaches you how to choose fashion styles that support your natural personality styole, you SAVE so much money by buying only what you love and what really works for you. I work with adolescent girls as a counselor and feel every young girl would benefit from this book. My daughters have discovered so many postive things about their personality, learned to appreciate how their femininity is uniquely expressed, and learned to avoid the over-sexualized fashion stereotypes that bombard girls today. Carol's beauty profiling does not put you in a box, it creates wonderful possibilities and helps you understand the leadership style of yourself and others in your life. It is a valuable tool to enhance all your relationships. If you can take the course, I highly recommend it; but even if you can't, you will love this life-changing book.

Life-changing!

This book delivers exactly what the author says it will deliver. Exposing the fashion world's inept ability to teach us as women the truth about our beauty, and the main purpose of the book, to help us discover what type of woman we are. I was fascinated with Tuttle's beauty profiling system that the book teaches so beautifully. Apparently a lot of women are not living true to their nature, thus Tuttle spends an entire section helping the reader "sort-out" what type of her 4 types we are most expressive in. Once you identify your dominant expression it is like being set free to live it with authenticity and power. I am a dominant type 4 and to know that I am a bold, striking woman inside and out has been incredibly freeing since I have compared myself to and thought I "should" be softer and sweeter to truly be feminine! The stories of women that went on to learn how to dress their truth through Tuttle's online learning system compelled me to try it myself. My nature is to be a bit skeptical and when it comes to fashion I was really curious what she could do for me that matched the life-changing stories of the many women in the book. Well, my skepticism turned in to another success story for Tuttle! Yes, it does work and everything she says it is going to do for you it does! You do pay more for the dressing your truth online learning, but the $297 pales in comparison to how much amazing content she has in the learning portal and how much she continues to add for no extra cost. I have more than saved my investment in the few shopping trips I have been on since I purchased the online materials. Tuttle's book is a much needed look at what we do to ourselves as women and how to set ourselves free from a fashion system that actually encourages us to beat ourselves up, (unbeknownst to ourselves), when it comes to our body and our appearance. I am very excited for more women to discover this book, which is what Tuttle says it is, the first step in her dressing your truth experience. You will learn your beauty profile by reading the book, and after you finish reading it and if by chance you still don't know what type you are, more reason to dig deeper as that is a big red flag that you are not living your truth and paying too a high price as a woman in this day and age to make such a huge sacrifice! Get the book ladies, it is awesome! Then really treat yourself by taking the second step and learn how to dress your truth. You won't be sorry, I wasn't'.

Truth in advertising

I LOVE THIS BOOK! Carol Tuttle is really on to something with her beauty profiling. Reading this book has helped me see myself in a whole new light as a woman. Just as Carol says in the book, knowing what type of woman I am from her 4 types has given me a new appreciation for myself and others. Carol makes it easy to "see ourselves" in the 4 types and to begin to understand the type of beauty we each have. I agree with Carol's claims in the book regarding how poor a job the fashion world does in offering us tools to look and feel beautiful as women, especically as we age! I went on to become a member of Tuttle's dressing your truth "club" at [..] and to learn how to dress my truth with her amazing online learning and it is worth every penny! I for one felt the author was incredibly honest and straight out in all her marketing materials in being VERY clear that the book and online beauty profiling course is just the first step in learning how to dress your truth and the second step is going through the dressing your truth online learning which she continues to add more and more content to, without having to pay more than the initial $297! I am sure I have saved more than my $297 investment in what I have bought the last 2 shopping trips I have had! If you are a woman and you are really ready to "get" yourself and live in your full power as a woman, and then to have the tools to look your best, this book and her online course is for you. If you are looking for a cheap, short method to try and look beautiful, stick with the current fashion magazines, they do a great job at that. I for one am grateful that Carol Tuttle brought her healing expertise in to the world of fashion and beauty. I believe her current work is going to help a lot of women! I disagree with the 1 star review, you did not do your homework and find out what you were buying! Carol Tuttle delivers in a BIG way what a lot of woman don't even know they are lacking when it comes to understanding themselves and their beauty! As I said I LOVE THIS BOOK and highly recommend it.
