Excellent and exceptional

I'm used to reading Seressia Glass's more sensual romances like NO COMMITMENT REQUIRED or her story in the WHAT WHITE BOYZ WANT anthology. I've never read her paranormal stories in the VEGAS BITES anthologies, so I didn't think she would do as great of a job writing a romantic suspense as she is in a contemporary romance. I'm so glad she proved me wrong! DREAM OF SHADOWS is engaging, engrossing, sensual, suspenseful and a well-written novel. I don't care what the races of the hero and heroine are because I was so drawn in to the story. I couldn't put it down. From the very opening with the first dream Nicole has I was hooked. And I understood where Jax was coming from when he didn't believe her at first. Who would? Seressia handled the romance and mystery within the story so well that by the end, I was hoping she had sequels in the works for Nicole's sisters, Malita and Mala. Nicole Legere was born with extraordinary gifts, but Its not shocking, however, because it runs in her family. Her mother is The Keeper, which means she has had this gift passed down to her from her ancestors and it is up to her to keep it on track. In DREAM OF SHADOWS, Nicole begins to dream of murders before they happen. Her conscience won't let her just ignore her dreams so she goes to Detective Carter Jackson to give him all the information she has from her dreams, hoping that he can glean enough to prevent the murder. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen that way and when the murder actually occurs, Nicole is the suspect. Nicole continues to have dreams and each time, the dream comes true. Seressia Glass has penned an exciting combination murder mystery and romance that is heavily into the paranormal. It caught my interest from page one and kept it until the very end. Pleasantly surprised

Excellent character development and great story. No typos that I recall -- and I hate poor editing. Becoming a favorite author.

To Believe or Not To Believe?!!!

This is the third novel I've read by Ms. Seressia Glass. "Dream of Shadows" is totally different from the other romances I've read by her. It has an enjoyably dark and thrilling edge to it. This novel is about the power and heritage Nicole Legere has denied most of her life, but must come to accept quickly, if she wants to save lives from an evil being who longs to take possession of this power by any means necessary. It's also about Detective Carter Jackson trying to choose between his feelings for a woman with psychic abilities, something he's NEVER believed in and about him being able to do his job as a cop, and bring a criminal to justice, without losing Nicki, his only witness or himself in the process of all this supernatural mumbo-jumbo. And even though he doesn't believe in this metaphysical world, he still wants to protect Nicki and feels that part of his duty is keeping her out of harms way at any cost. It's about a family that continues to make many sacrifices to keep the Balance between "Light and Dark" or "Good and Evil" in this world, in order to keep humanity safe from the unexplainable "things that go bump in the night". This was a dark, yet still a very sensual romance with a rollercoaster ride of suspense-filled moments that kept me turning the pages, just dying to know what would happen next.~~~~~~~The passion between Jax and Nicki was so intense it had that magical or supernatural vibe that neither could deny or escape. All the characters were so unforgettable, and I hope this isn't the last I'll hear of them. I found the storyline to be "UNBELIEVABLY" intriguing, because like Jax, I am a Non-Believer of the metaphysical world, however, I was still caught up in every moment of this story! Good Job, Ms. Glass, looking forward to reading more about the "Legere Legacy" and this families journey!
