What is Revelation's bottomless pit? Who is the angel of the bottomless pit; and who is the beast from the bottomless pit? Answers to these questions have clouded the real meaning of the bottomless pit described in Revelation, Chapter 9 since John wrote Revelation. Historically, this information in Chapter 9 has been so distorted that it reverses the intended meaning of the chapter. Most interpret the angel of the bottomless pit as the Antichrist or another demon who rises from that pit with clouds of strange locusts and scorpions to kill and torment citizens of the earth. This identification is confused with the beast from the bottomless pit who rises and kills two prophets. These are two different entities who represent the forces of evil and the forces of Good who will be at war on the Armageddon battlefield. This book gives answers to these questions, as well as a clear definition of that bottomless pit itself. The bottomless pit is not a great hole in the ground. It also reveals the identities of the two earthly forces who will meet on that battlefield. One will ride the white horse and be represented by the destroyer, Apollyon. The other will be Babylon the Great riding that red horse of Satan. This book also suggests a time for that great battle.
