Fantastic read!

This book is excellent but warning, the ending is hard to take! It chronicles the life of a dedicated doctor from the courting of his wife, the travel by wagon on Oregon Trail and their starting in a settlement and he doctoring the Indians. They endured much hardship in the wilderness with their 2 children & the other settlers. Very well written, but warning, not a happy ending.
