A superb introduction to digital logic

Having examined numerous books that cover introductory material on digital logic, I must say that this book is a welcome addition. Indeed, I would consider this book the best among the currently avaialabe books on this subject. The treatment emphasizes the fundamentals very well without an emphasis on the tecnhology or on any design language. Thus, the material covered should be helpful in giving the students a strong and lasting foundation which will be independent of changes in technology. The presentation is lucid, and the examples are very good. I believe this should be a serious candidate for the text book of any introductory course in digital logic.
