Roll Them Dice!!

"Dice" by T.N. Baker was a page turner!!! I enjoyed this book, only I been so busy it took me longer than usual to read it! Wasaun and Enychi were a happy young couple. Wasuan loved Enychi, and Enychi loved Wasuan. Only Wasaun loved gambling a little more. When Wasuan makes a bet he can't afford against a big baller named Tone, he doesn't have the 80 G's, so Tone asks for one night with Enychi. Enychi is enraged that Wa could use her as a pawn in his sick games, but agrees to spare her mans life.... And the DRAMA begins from there!!!!

Great read

Loved the book! My first one by the author and I WAS NOT disappointed. The ending was different from what I was expecting but was glad it ended the way it did.

All Money Ain't Good Money

I just finished "Dice" and it was excellent! Miss. Baker put her foot into this one! I was fascinated by the love affair between Enychi and Wasuan. They both made decisions that could've easily been detrimental to them. Yet in the end, they both learned from their blunders and came out swinging. I also appreciated that Wasuan and Gunz both felt remorse for their wrongdoings. Wasuan discovering "God" and Gunz's battle with drugs to ease his guilt. That was powerful. My favorite character was Denita. She was funny as hell and just didn't give a damn. I admired that although she ran the streets with tired azz Rodney, professionally, she handled herself like a corporate CEO. That was a real nice balance. "Dice" is an amusing, energetic, "urban" love story. Five gold stars for T.N. because she's deserving of it.

Don't Hate The Playa, Hate The Game (token787)

T.N. Baker does it again, this book is different for you, It was about the love of dice with a nieve girl. I'll say this again what love got to do with it, so just give me Tone and keep it moving. Whatever, T.N. Baker drops u know it's going to be on fiyyyyyaaaaa!!!! Now let the Games Begin!

Addiction

In Dice by T.N. Baker you get acquainted with Wasuan and Enychi who share the type of love that most young couples do. Wasuan was the son of a well-known hustler who was good at the dice game and passed the tricks of the trade down to him. Losing his father at a young age drove Wasuan to hone his craft and continue his father's legacy as the baddest dice man that walked the streets. Enychi was the daughter of a female hustler. Her mom's hustle was bedding men of the cloth and making them assure her and Enychi a comfortable lifestyle from the funds of collection plates. At the tender age of 18, Enychi's mother abandoned her telling her it was time to find her own way, just as she had. Wasuan and Enychi found their way into each others lives via her becoming intoxicated and almost being taken advantage of at a party they both attended. When Enychi woke up in his bed the next morning and found out it was Wasuan's place, they became inseparable. Wasuan continued his dice hustle and made sure he and Enychi had the life they deserved while she attended college for fashion design. Things could not be better until Wasuan was challenged by a fellow hustler, Tone, to a double or nothing game of dice. Even though Wasuan's friends tried to discourage him from the bet, nothing could stop the hunger in his heart for such a big win. Would Wasuan hit it big or would he[...]out? Dice is an excellently written urban fiction novel. The characters are lively and made me feel like I was riding along with them the entire time. Once I started to read it, I was upset anytime I had to put it down. The plots and subplots are strong and very unpredictable. T.N. Baker penned a perfect story and did a great job of speaking from the male perspective. I recommend Dice to readers of urban fiction who appreciate a well developed, thought-provoking story.
