This story addresses themes of faith, love, duty, and personal growth as Ilthanon navigates his inner conflicts and relationships with fellow monks and Tsobias, a prince turned monk. The sharing of "khor," or brother-love (of a bodily kind) is integral to their religion and practices. Mature themes, but mostly a coming of age story set against an unusual background.
