Countryman edition

This second novel in the old Asey Mayo Cape Cod series is a better, more tightly written novel than the first in the series, The Cape Cod Mystery. The plot is less contrived, but only somewhat. A satisfying locked-room cozy. The Countryman edition is much easier on aging eyes than the mass-market paperbacks.
