Dead Serious

This is a book of poetry by an author that doesn't like to be taken seriousy. Meaning, the title is a deception. His vanity is a piece of furniture in a well lighted corner of the bedroom. There, the poet looks into faded blue eyes and writes about himself. Writes some, stares some -- that's the process. Occasionally, he will apply some lip gloss and eye liner.
