Smaller than anticipated

I must have misread the discription or something, this book is only 5" x 7" and 240 pages of text. I usually buy textbooks to reference. Its a concise introduction to what and why for those with no knowledge of the subject. I think itd be a good introductory or airplane read, but lacks any depth of a textbook. There are 14 black pages with a single large sentence, it feels like they should be key takeaways, but theyre so generic it comes off as filler to meet a page requirement. Also mine had a dirty napkin as a page holder :/
