Amazing!

My mother has the tradition of rereading Pride and Prejudice every summer. Mine is to reread this book. I love reading for Darcy's POV, and how the author takes us into a very amazing happily ever after.

Pride and Prejudice from Mr. Darcy's point of view.

I absolutely love this book. Based on some of the reviews I have perused in this section, some folks say it is a fluffy romance, some say it is too sappy, while others pan the book completely. I disagree wholeheartedly! This book simply tells Pride and Prejudice from Mr. Darcy's point of view. Is the language like Jane Austen? No but come on folks, this is fan fiction! This book does a wonderful job filling in the "blanks" that were present in Pride and Prejudice. Jeffers gives us a glimpse into the mind of Fitzwilliam Darcy and what makes him tick. This book was not filled with sex upon sex (which I am very thankful for) and it has a plot! I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to know more about Fitzwilliam Darcy. Well done Ms. Jeffers! I look forward with great anticipation to reading your other books!

A PLEASURE!

Wow! What a breath of fresh air. This is the first book that I have read from Darcys point of view and let me tell you, I couldn't put the book down! It was true to the Jane Austens P & P characters without altering their behaviors and intentions. I just loved the way the storylines came together. What a wonderful ending to a most beloved love story. Thank you! I wouldn't mind seeing another sequal from this author. She was wonderful!!!!

Wonderfully Passionate

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and did not want it to end. The insight into the passionate marriage of Fitzwilliam and Elizabeth was a joy to read. I also enjoyed the courtship as well. I think that the best bit I liked in the courtship was when Lydia came home for her sisters wedding without of course her husband. She admits to now knowing what her husband is like but states that all she has is her child like innocence not like her sisters. I also like that Elizabeth tells Lydia that she and Darcy will not carry on supporting Wickham but she will send bits out of her pinn money to help Lydia herself not her husband. She also tells Lydia to tell Wickham that if he tries to come to Pemberley it will be her that will see him off with a gun and that she will enjoy shooting him. lol. Many writers today give us Darcy's side of things. I must admit that this is the first which has gone further into married life. I have been reading on the authors site that she is to write a sequel and I must admit that I am looking forward to reading this. I would like to say how highly I recommend this as a Pride and Prejudice sequel fan I must admit that this is one of the best out of the new ones so far. I now look forward with anticipation to the sequel Darcy's Dreams when it comes out.

Great

Through her book, Regina Jeffers is able to capture the readers' attention and hold it until she finishes everything she had to say. Darcy's Passion allows me to put a character next to the face of the mysterious man known as Darcy. After reading the book, I rewatched the movie, and for the first time ever, I felt I finally understood the characters. The book fascinated me and I can't wait to see what this wonderful author has next.

Jane Austen fans rejoice!

I am fascinated with Jeffer's ability to maintain such integrity of the characters while creating a fresh look at Jane Austen's most famous work! She reminds me of Austen actually, weaving an intricate plot filled with witty dialogue. Every scene is poignant and touching, providing a memorable and fresh look at Pride and Prejudice, but not skewing the story line or characters to something that would make Austen cringe. I absolutely loved it and am sure that Austen fans and avid readers alike will fall in love with it as well.
