It's 1999. Chad Schneider's first day at the CIA is going badly.
His security badge just asked him WHO ARE YOU.
Chad is twenty-two, chronically overprepared, and supposed to spend his career safely behind a desk entering data. Instead, he's dragged into N.I.G.H.T.F.A.L.L., a classified program tasked with containing technology that has stopped obeying the rules.
Impossible computer files.Corrupted games.Networks connecting to places that shouldn't exist.Software that knows things nobody told it.And the deeper Chad gets, the more uncomfortable the pattern becomes: the system may have noticed him first. Now he's working alongside a brutally competent engineer, an exhausted hacker with entirely too much access, and a director who seems to know what's going to happen before it happens.
Chad has no field training. He does, however, have excellent pattern recognition, several emergency exits already mapped, and enough tactical snacks to survive a minor constitutional crisis.
Probably.
CYCLE THE BOX is Book 1 of PROJECT NIGHTFALL, a darkly funny techno-occult conspiracy series where government bureaucracy meets haunted technology, 56K modems scream in locked rooms, and the countdown to Y2K has already begun.
