Wonderful.....Just Wonderful!

Having just recently learned to crochet using a double-ended crochet hook, I found some pattern booklets at my local craft store. But I wanted more than just dishcloths and afghans. This book fits the bill. I was reluctant to order this as none of the sites I saw it on gave much of a description. I am glad I went ahead and bought it. This book has wonderful patterns for, yes, afghans and baby blankets. But, it also has a men's sweater, a few women's vest, a lovely button down cardigan, home decor and even some holiday patterns. The patterns are well written and easy to understand even for a beginner. The pictures are in full color and are large so you can see the items in detail. The first chapter covers the basic two stitches (going into the vertical and horizontal bars) very clearly. As a beginner, it may take me a while to make some of the more advanced items in this book, but I have a wonderful addition to my library with many, many patterns that will take me from beginner to advanced!
