Country Music legend, Drew Collins, is beset with multiple tragedies. A shooter attacks his daughter and trainer at her thoroughbred breeding farm, leaving the trainer dead and his daughter severely wounded. His auto dealership corporation, Music City Auto Mall, is suffering huge financial losses. Someone is out to kill Drew and members of his family.
Annette Dupart and her lawyer boyfriend, Xavier Stewart, are asked to come to Nashville and help Drew sort things out. Xavier sets about to work on a succession plan for the Collins financial empire while Annette is asked to provide an audit of the dealership to nail down the source of losses and provide a value for the business.
A vengeful Auto Mall financial officer who has been siphoning funds is out to take control of the business while removing those who get in her way. The general manager is killed, Drew is almost killed by a run-away trash truck, Drew's sons both suffer losses and Annette is lured to the Nashville Parthenon to be killed. Getting to the bottom of Drew's problems, while avoiding danger is giving both Annette and Xavier a case of County Music Bluz.
