witty and sexy as always

Susanna Carr always manages to make her books sexy, but with the right amount of sensuality in it. Not too much so that people who don't like erotic books would dislike it but just the right amount so that everyone is satisfied. There were some really funny scenes in the book, especially the one about "his Little Jack" (so very romantic scene) but you'll know what I'm talking about once you read it. (pg 91, really my favorite page) Her plots are always entertaining and her characters witty and sexy. And between those characters is ofcourse always the hot chemistry that Susanna Carr can put on paper so well. The writing style is very fluent, it keeps you turning the pages and before you know it you'll be at the end of the book. This is definitely a nice addition to your stack of books! - reviewed by Eveline for Euro-Reviews

A gem from page one

Confessions of a "Wicked" Woman is a charming tale by Susanna Carr. Sheriff Jack Logan feels in over his head. He has his former bad boy rep to live down and the legend of his father to live up to as sheriff. To top it all off a major flood is coming to his small town of Mayfield. He rescues Stephanie Monroe from a sinking car and all his bad boy ways come screaming back. Stephanie Monroe is only in this small town to get her business partner back to L.A. On her first day in Mayfield she is tossed in jail. Bad enough her mind keeps wandering to the hunky sheriff. She has her life all planned out and living in a small town is not in her day planner. Jack and Stephanie are funny, sweet and oh so hot. They both fight this attraction but lord when they give in it's a scorcher. Susanna Carr writes with such humor and passion in every word. The characters just come alive on the pages. Looking forward to her next book.

amusing chick lit tale

Maysfield Sheriff Jack Logan thought his worse two problem are the imminent flood and living down his reputation as a town bad boy during his wild oats youth. He soon realizes he is way off in his assessment when he pulls Stephanie Monroe out of the creek where she sank her SUV. She is in town seeking her runaway business partner.. Jack takes a soaked Stephanie to the sheriff's office where dressed to the part she pretends to be an L.A bad girl. Jack can see through her fake image to the small girl- sweet woman that Stephanie tries to hide. As the townsfolk complain about Stephanie's outrageousness and Jack is forced to arrest her for indecent behavior that even he as a reformed bad guy knows is nothing, they fall in love, but she fled a hometown that is a clone of Maysfield for the bright city lights. This amusing chick lit tale centers on the premise that Jack was once a bad boy while Stephanie was once a good girl, but both easily sees inside the other to a caring heart. The amusing tale focuses on Jack knowing he should not fall in love with the transient, but does and Stephanie knowing that she should not fall in love with the local yokel but she does. Susanna Carr provides a wickedly hot humorous fun tale. Harriet Klausner
