Wonderfully written wholeheartedly needed

I red this book cover to cover on an eight hour car ride. It was beautiful- the inner workings of Maverick and his life suddenly was nothing but his, as he worked through his own internal pain and suffering. As you read you watch a young seventeen year old kid grow and flourish into a (albeit still young) but softer, caring, understanding and dedicated father and young man. Facing fears and almost life long questions and realizing just maybe he can still be the Maverick his father named him for.
