Majority of her life she battled with low self-esteem, which led to choices that involved self-abuse, promiscuity, and alternative lifestyle choices. She wanted to create an identity. An identity without God, just living life her way. She thought she could have her fun now and when she was old, she could come back to Christ. Her life choices moved her further and further away from God until she was at rock bottom.
