No title can describe the insanity that lies within.

With the hunt for Denji's heart heating up, fights rage on. Pining skilled allies against tough opponents. Can chainsaw beat blade, and will Power be overpowered in a room full of zombies? But when the outcomes are determined, we see our heroes, try to find a bit of normalcy in life while coping with the loss of their comrades. This series is seriously something else, it's a mesh of horror, thriller/suspense and dark humor, which all of those things go perfect together and are used in many series, anime and non, but in this series it's like they remastered the genres and you don't even realize what you're reading until you finish. It's blatantly obvious when you look back, but the story pulls you in deep and the solid character art, contrary to the more detailed and grotesque devils and monsters art, keep ahold of you until you finish the volume, and you don't even know where the time went. Chainsaw man is that powerful, this early on. As for this volume, I really liked how one of our main characters lived out a bit of their dream by going on a date and not only falling for one, but two beautiful and kind of scary women. The first half of the volume was jam packed full of action, while the rest was a bit more mundane, a nice change of pace from the roaring fights. This series really has me on the edge of my seat at every page. I cannot wait to get through my box set and go out to get caught up with latest release!
