This book is concise and well written and focuses on what you need to know, I enjoyed reading it and it also filled in a few gaps missing in my understanding of the pix, the pix is not an easy box to configure there are many other devices like Netscreen that are far easier but this book really shows you how to configure the pix as easily as possible, I was really impressed with the examples as well, its an [inexpensive] book...

I've been reading through all the comments about this book, but they all seem to have forgotten that this is a book that focuses on the exam 9E-111, and specially on the new features of the PIX firewall.
