Not hardcover as descrived

This is a nice Bible but it is not hardcover as described. Very disappointed.

God's word is alive!!

This is the best Teen Bible that I have seen. It is the NAB translation, so the readings in Mass match the language in this translation. It has 60 pages in the front and 60 in the back that can function as a built-in apologetics guide. These insert pages give historical background on things from Scripture, such as "How the Bible was composed" to "How the Old Testament points to the Messiah" with scripture verses included. It has short blurbs on each book of the Bible that are helpful to read before starting to understand a little better what is going on in each book. Some other great things you will find in these inserts are a short biography on each of the prophets, key Gospel events, the parables and miracles of Jesus. In addition, there is useful advice on "How to read and pray scripture", and "Finding the sacraments in Scripture". There is a concordance in back which I have found myself using many times. Although it is called a Catholic Teen Bible, its appropriate for adults as well.
