An awkward portrait of a one-sided relationship between a real cat and a ceramic garden gnome. Throw in characters like Reggie the snail and an exploding robot from the future and you get this... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I got it for my sister for Christmas - so it was 8 months ago when I read it. I do remember the funny little drawings on the page and the absurdity of it, and completely cracking up while I held my place in the book. On the other hand, my dad read it and didn't quite understand what I thought was so funny. So I'll add I'm 48 and my dad is 75. And last time my boyfriend and I were over at a friend's house, something set me off and I made up the Panda Dance, which Cady and I proceeded to do around the house for about 20 minutes. Cady is 9. Everyone else ignored us, because they're used to things like that on occasion. On the other hand, I run a very profitable consulting business. If you have a sense of the absurd and like random things that make many look at you as if you're from another planet, you'll probably like this book.
