Very disappointing

This was disappointing after the book thief. Like it was written by a different person altogether. Wow.

Bridge of Clay will one day be a Classic I believe...

I am only about 130 pages in, but I am thoroughly enjoying this book! Markus truly has a gift to write!! The hardcover copy I have is signed, and as much I am truly loving this story I will probably keep this copy! Sadly, because I like Physical copies of books....if I end up selling them I do not get anywhere close to what they may be worth or what I may have paid for them?! Just today in Syracuse NY I sold a hardcover copy of "The Other Emily" by Dean Koontz at the used Bookstore "Books End" and only received a WHOLE DOLLAR! It's truly ridiculous what you pay for such a book...now, this week if I go back in there that same book will be for sale for at least $6 or more dollars! Anyways, this story goes back in forth in Flashbooks about how these Dunbar boys came about and it's simply a Wonderful Book worth reading....this is my 2nd Book by this Author and I have a 3rd book of his "The Book Thief " which I plan on reading after I am done reading this one! I first read his novel "I Am the Messenger" and really Enjoyed it as well! Look forward to more of Future novels...! Great writer...I pray that he is truly rewarded for his great work and only continues to prosper with his writing!!

An interesting book

I must say, I'm proud of myself for reading a book that is not the normal type I pick up. This book as described by the author is inside out, backwards, upside down of a story, yet it grabbed me from the start till the end, page 537! It's jumps back and forth from present to past and it makes sense. It's a beautiful story.
