Former world champion heavyweight James Redmond entire professional career-- really his entire life can be summed up by highs and lows. James Redmond is an African-American muscular build man, bald headed with a mustache, about six feet two and inches tall.

Following a 20-month absent from boxing, along with a well-chronicled battle with drug abuse and brushes with the law, the 45-year-old Redmond once again became a winner when he knocked out John Brown in the second round of his main event at a small area in Las Vegas. Sweetening his win, was the fact that Redmond's 21-year-old son, Edward Redmond, also knocked out his opponent in the same ring, the same night of his father's comeback.
