Book of Joel-Bible Studies: A Brief Study of the Future

By Paul Bucknell

How should we study an Old Testament prophet when its visions of judgment and the future raise difficult questions?

In Book of Joel-Bible Studies: A Brief Study of the Future, Paul J. Bucknell guides readers through the entire book of Joel in eight biblical studies. Four commentary sections help readers weigh interpretations, including Joel's connection with Acts 2.

The studies invite readers to examine the prophetic text carefully, consider its call to respond to God, and think through what it teaches about the future. Bucknell's aim is to help readers learn from Joel without requiring them to adopt one particular view of end-times events. This 80-page paperback suits personal Bible study and group discussion.
