making the unaccesable accesable

The story of the binding of Isaak by his father is one of the most difficult onces encountered in the Bible. It is a story, hard for adults to deal with, even more so for children and youngsters. Barbara Cohen helps us as parents to see the story through different eyes and be able to pass it on to our children. While being in line with tradition, she opens up the possibilty for open conversation about love and believe. I got this book as a present from a great friend. Years later now, my son made his first book report for school on this book. It made me be re-impressed with Barbara Cohens abbility to talk to adult and child alike.
