She's beautiful, smart, and quiet. The two of them have an excellent friendship and are each other's plus one when needed. Spencer is in a bind when his dad is selling the family business to a old fashioned family. His harebrained scheme to help his dad is to set up a fake engagement with Charlotte so his playboy lifestyle doesn't affect the business sale. He & Charlotte come up with rules for their engagement and do a good job of tricking everyone. The problems start when Spencer realizes he's falling in love with his best friend.
