Better because I read this book

Sometimes we make the mistake of believing our individual circumstances are the cause of our attitudes or the way that we approach life and relationships. "Better because" teaches us that our plights and/or challenges in life have, ironically, nothing to do with the way that we should approach each day. This is a new chapter in the idea of the power of positive thinking, including real-life anecdotes of people who make a difference in their own lives by choice. Going through life as victims of our circumstances does not make us better. Creating a better life is entirely possible one choice at a time. Every person should keep this book on the bedside table.

Just what I needed

I came home from a rough day at work and found that my book had arrived. I didn't know when I would have time to read it because of dealing with normal mom stuff, but I couldn't help myself, I sat down and started reading the first few pages. Soon my bad mood was lifted and I found I had a smile on my face. I am better because of the positive words from this wonderful book.

This book is a keeper.

"better because of you" is a book you read over and over again. The personal stories, the quotes from A to Z, and the illustrations give us a roadmap to live our lives in a more positive fulfilling way. Ginny and Cathy have presented the material in a different format than other self-help books I have read. I read it in one sitting and know that I will keep this book close by so I can refer to it often. The entire time I was reading it I kept thinking of all the people I wanted to give this book to as a gift. Sharing this book with family, friends and people who have made a positive difference in my life and then asking them to do the same will enable me to make life better because .....

actually good

I was actually impressed, not thinking this book would be different from other self-help books. It had great tips on money, living, etc. All that I think it should have also had was more on spirituality and the environment. At the end, it has great tips on all aspects of life.
