The homemade kite is the best

The Berenstain Bears and the Big Red Kite is a rhyming Berenstain Bears book that tells the story of Papa Bear helping Brother and Sister Bear to make a kite. They enter their homemade kite into the kite flying contest. Despite criticism from those with fancier store bought kites, and initial set backs, the Bear family keeps trying and wins. This book is well worth buying -- it teaches a lesson and is a fun to read rhyming Berenstain Bear book.

Big Red Kite is a real winner

Sister and brother bear would like to compete in a kite flying competition, but they have no kite. Papa bear makes one homemade. At first it doesnt fly high, but then a big gust of wind comes and all the other fancy kites break and they win the competition.
