well-crafted and intellectual

Joseph is a Professor of Law, who is married to the painter Nancy Van Goethem. Like many New Yorkers, he is not interested by sentimentality or self-indulgence, but sees the beauty and irony of our existence in a straightforward fashion. Free verse that makes a point.
