Pleasantly surprised by Bedded for the Spaniard's Pleasure

Bedded For the Spaniard's Pleasure by Carole Mortimer was a pleasant surprise. I really thought after reading the blurb that I wouldn't really like it, but it was pretty good. Actress Cairo Vaughn is vacationing at a villa in France with her niece when Rafe Montero, a famous actor and director comes a knocking. It looks like Rafe owns this villa, and he has plans to stay at it for the next week. Cairo and Rafe were lovers eight years earlier, and neither has forgotten the other. Cairo though went on to marry someone else, because she thought that Rafe had cheated on her. Rafe has loved Cairo for years, and now is his opportunity at a second chance with her. But he knows that Cairo has changed. She was in a marriage with someone that she didn't loved and who gambled away her money. At first I thought the story looked very unbelievable and cheesy, but the author was able to turn that around, and the story turned out to be a decent read worthy of 4 stars!
