Book Overview

Taming a Beast was never this dangerous

Leo Aoi looks like a crazy animal with wild eyes, and he goes berserk whenever he feels threatened and sees blood. That doesn't stop animal-lover Yuiko Kubozuka from befriending him, however. In fact, Yuiko is the only person Leo will listen to when he has one of his violent fits...

Leo's 18th birthday is around the corner, but celebrating seems impossible as someone is after Leo's life...

The Beast Masters Love

Though this series is very short, I loved the story. It starts off where the last book left. Leo and Yuiko are starting to form a love interest in each other, but in an instant while shopping for Leo's 18th birthday he is hit by a car. At the hospital, Yuiko learns from Leo's guardian, (the over emotional man that he is) that Leo is about to inherit quite a lot of money, (shocked Yuiko look) and that his family is after him to take it from him. If he is killed before his 18th birthday they get it all. Well Yuiko being the (always) damsel in distress get's kidnapped by his family. Leo comes to the rescue and saves her. Of course she stops him before he kills one of his family members, and Yuiko almost goes off on the woman. (Yeah Yuiko) Not long after it is learned that Leo's dad isn't dead after all and is able to save his life, (thanks to tape recorder.) It is decided that Leo must leave and Yuiko tries to be indifferent to it. Too bad for her, she isn't. As the story progresses, we learn that this love interest is more then that, but the truest love of all, where life and death will not keep it seperated. It is a very sweet love story, I'm kind of sad to see that it was so short. (I was expecting a bit more.) But all together it was a well written book and you can't help Leo, he's so naive, sweet, and kind he doesn't realize that he is actually very scary looking, and even scarier fighter. Why can't guys be more like Leo, humble, kind, and sensitive? (Well those are the reasons. hahaha)I would recommend this to anyone that likes a sweet love story that isn't full of sex and language.
