This Collection Is On The Absolute Top Tier Of The Batman!!

So many stories were nickel-chiseled reltney *****s that the four worst in the collection (none of which were bad) still kept the overall grade in the high nineties. What was shocking to me was that the quality of the twenty collaborations was just as good as stories done by one person. Bolland was the only one who worked alone so he deserves to be the one picked above as author. The combinations were almost all firsts for me and the roster is studly, sturdy and sensational even though everything-he's-in-on-is-golden Archie Goodwin was mortally unavailable. What a smile I got, and now possess again, when as I appreciated the top sixty percent of the copyright page (only proceeded by the title page) being all black with the all whitededication which read "For Archie Goodwin, of course" I found it funny that the editor put himself in the credits of all 21 stories instead of once blanketing the table of contents. I wouldn't even bring that up if he had done a better job of cross-checking story content as the series these appeared in moved along against story proposals or if he would have told upcoming creators what to avoid.
