As a young woman, Lily loses her husband and is faced with raising a baby on her own. While each sister faces one hardship after another, each one tougher than the last, the other sister is there for support and strength but then a new strength is added to the family, Baby Rose. The ending will bring a tear to the eye of anyone that has ever been in or dreamed of being in love.
