Azithromycin

Azithromycin is an antibiotic useful for the treatment of varieties of bacterial infections. This includes middle ear infections, strep throat, pneumonia, traveller's diarrhea, and some other intestinal infections. It may also be used for some of sexually transmitted infections together with chlamydia and gonorrhea infections. Alongside other medicinal drugs, it is able to also be used for malaria. It may be taken via mouth or intravenously with doses once per day. Most side effects of the drug consist of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and upset belly. Hypersensitive reaction or a type of diarrhea caused by clostridium difficile is feasible. From the research gathered so far on this medicine no harm has been found with the use throughout pregnancy stage. It's just that it's safety while breastfeeding isn't confirmed, but it's probably safe. Azithromycin is an azalide, a form of macrolide antibiotic.
