Great for beginners but text errors might confuse you

The book seems to cover the majority of Combustion's basic functions (when I write this I'm going through chapter 8) with well constructed chapters and concise instructions. The supplemented DVD contains all the project data, final results etc. to help the user. There are still some annoying errors in the text. For instance, on page 104 he writes: "Create a B-Spline object to tint the roof to the right:" when he's actually referring to the roof to the left, which he then writes on the next page. On page 109, in item 5, the fyrst paragraph ends on: "/../positions on the final frame, the". The very next paragraph doesn't continue this text. And later in the middle of the same paragraph, it reads: "/.../all the objects throughout the animation.objects in the workspace viYou can use guides to Guides provide/../" This makes no sense. There are other similar errors in the book, and I'm only on chapter 8! Regardless, the book is well worth its modest price tag

Good book on Combustion

I would recommend this book for people who have no previous knowledge of combustion. It was very helpful for me, who went from no experience with it(Combustion) to feeling very comfortable.

This magnificent courseware has been a nice surprise for me. I didn't expect it to be so good. It covers every aspect, every button, every function, every concept of my beloved Combustion. A lotta knowledge. Well planned, well written, perfectly conceived, no typos, no missing explanations or mistakes. The best combustion courseware so far. A must, even for combustion veterans.
