"In the early morning, when it was still dark, Jesus got up ...." (Mark 1:35 NASB).

I believe that there are heavenly gates opened at certain times of the day. In my case, I enter His gates early in the morning, at 5:00 am, when, typically, the rooster crows. It is a blessing to watch the dawning of the day, to smell nature, and to commune with our Creator. To me, it is early in the morning when I can "hear" God's voice clearer before the busyness of the day starts. And my soul longs for that time daily.

This book is a collection of encouraging scriptures divided by subject for each month of the year. Its purpose is for the reader to meet life goals, and to live each day with a purpose. Please be encouraged to journal your progress, personal word from the Lord for your life, events, and the fulfillment of requests and prayers. This devotional is meant to be a resource for your study and reading of God's Word, and it is not a substitute of the Bible, His love letter for His own.
