a fun trip to snail city!

We found this book in the library and when we read it at home, just loved it! My 4 1/2 year old and I both loved poring over the pictures to find all the snail details (the snail dog, the snail sneakers, etc.). The story/concept is cute and fun, but the illustrations really make the book. My son did comment that it wasn't very nice that the one kid called Gail a fast poke. I came looking to see if there were any other adventures in Snail City. Hopefully the writer/illustrator will make some in the future!

This is a great beginner book for the Snail Lover in your house! My three year old loves it!
