Believe what you want to believe

The comments here just go to show that people will believe what they want and pick and choose the facts to scotch up their own preconceived notions. This book presents a mountain of technical evidence, if you can wade through it and understand it, and uses the probabilities of scientific facts to apply to the existence of God. In the section on accuracy of Bible prophesy, he used only prophesies that could be verified outside of the Bible and calculates the probability they could ALL be true. Likewise, he studies the probability that Jesus is the Messiah by using Old Testament prophesies about the messiah written hundreds of years before Christ's birth. The numbers are astounding, and yet some still do not beleive.

Wow!

Awesome read. It skirts on getting a bit technical, but leaves the heavier science to another of his books - "Examine the Evidence"

Very enjoyable defense of the faith

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and could see why it took the author years to do his own methodical research. Many of the points about historical, archaeological and scientific evidence I've read in other books, but I still learned a lot. I would have to recommend it to anyone seeking for reasons to believe in Jesus.

The evidence of God is obvious

The evidence regarding the statsitical probablity of the existence of God is far stronger than the author's use of prophesies in the Bible which I found to be far less compelling.I thought the prophesy section was intentionally slanted and did not present a balanced case. It was also a little boring. The big reason to read this book is that I think most readers would have a hard time doubting the existence of God after reading this -no matter how skeptical they are. That's easily worth the money and makes this book a 5.

If you want to remain an evolutionist, don't read this book

Spectacular use of facts and evidence. The author started out as an atheist and came to the conclusion that the scientific evidence leads only to the conclusion that God exists. Contrary to another review on this site, the scientific evidence is beyond compelling. I find it humorous that the evolutionist critic didn't even finish the book. That's like a movie critic watching half a movie and commenting on it. Silly. Read the facts for yourself. If you wish to remain an atheist and a supporter of evolution, then don't read this book.
