God Himself officiated the first marriage. He was the Father and Giver as He presented Eve to Adam and laid down the ground rule: marriage is not to be taken lightly. We must make proper preparation for marriage, not just focus on the wedding. When we make our wedding vows, we are making a covenant before God. We should pay close attention to our vows and live accordingly.

A healthy marriage produces healthy families. Strong, healthy families produce good societies. As a result, we have great churches. It reflects in every area of life. Because of this, we should do everything we can to make sure our marriage stays together.
