As a photojournalist, there have been places, people and events that have shaped and changed my life. I know that I pushed myself to capture in my photographs and writings the inspirations and emotions of the times whenever possible. I came to realize and accept the fact that I alone had to conquer my fears of failures and strive to know and understand the purpose of my art and produce a creative legacy that could be passed on to others. In my own way, I connected with the events, places and people that became so very important to me and my family. I believe the 1960's both pushed my creative energies as no other time had, or has since. So much happened to me and others of my generations. Change become the norm, and our higher expectations, became the accepted practice of the day.
