Awesome True Story by an Awesome Humble Man

This book is one of the most honest well written books I have ever read. I recommend it to everyone. Jason shows how no matter what your situation you can rise out of it and overcome any adversity through the power of Christ living within you. It does not matter if you were orphaned, abandoned, discriminated against or have low self-esteem. All you have to do is open your mind, body and spirit to Him (Jesus Christ), follow His ways and you can overcome anything. It may sound like that is a lot of work or that you are not worthy. I am here to tell you and I am (like Jason) living proof that Christ loves you no matter what. I never felt worthy of God's love until I actually humbled myself before Him and surrendered to His will. That simple action always sounded like it was too difficult and complicated to me, but once I did it, it was easy. And, now, I don't have that burning feeling inside my gut that I carried around for so many years. That black hole of darkness, hate, resentment and fear has been replaced (Praise God) with love, peach and joy. You might be reading this thinking this is a bunch of bull or hype, but I assure you it is not. You matter to God! I matter to God! We all matter to God! He is alive and wants to meet you right where you are no matter where that might be. You don't have to stay in that misery, you don't have to hold onto that hate. Release it. Let it go and do not pick it up again. Cry out to Christ and He will help you. Don't feel ashamed to ask for help. You don't have to ask for help in front of another person. Your relationship with Christ is something that is personal and no one can take that away from you. Once you let Christ fill your heart with love, no one can steal that. This book is an easy read and has some very deep meanings that will touch your very core. It contains real time events, real words, and a real living God - the only living God. So if you are sick and tired of being sick and tired do something different. Pick yourself up and get down on your knees. Yes, I know that sounds crazy; but it really works. Britt Christian

A Vietnam Orphan's Story

Jason Robertson's book, "A Love Beyond Explaining: An Orphan's Journey From Rice To Grits", could also have been titled, "A Miracle Beyond Explaining". As an infant, Jason was left to die in the filth along a city street during the Vietnam War. Later, he was found and brought to a Saigon orphanage where hundreds of other South Vietnamese children were living. Jason's parents, like so many of the other orphan's parents, had been captured or killed by the invading North Vietnamese soldiers or by Viet Cong guerrillas. Jason chronicles his incredible rescue, flight to freedom to the United States, his adoption, and his lifelong efforts to find his parents or find out what happened to them, and the many emotional, physical, and spiritual challenges he has faced. "A Love Beyond Explaining" is an incredible and poignant story of appreciation, forgiveness, honesty, love, respect, strength, belief in and eternal thanks to God, and a story of appreciation and thanks to the American soldier for the sacrifices each made. Jason's book is a must read that will both humble and cause the reader to re-examine his own life. Lloyd A. King, Vietnam veteran and author of, "From `Nam With Love-An Infantry Soldier's Vietnam
