Every month, some of our favorite shows and movies leave streaming services. But that doesn't mean we can't enjoy them anymore. Here's a list of some of the standout films that will be leaving Netflix and HULU in May. Get your own copy and keep watching them whenever you want.  

HULU

• The French Dispatch (2021)—Wes Anderson's love letter to the spirit of journalism.
• The Book Thief (2013)—This film version of the beloved novel by Markus Zusak stars Geoffrey Rush and Emily Watson.
• Anastasia (1997)—An animated musical fantasy about the last surviving child of the Russian Royals.
• Big (1988)—A wishing machine turns a young teen into a 35-year-old man overnight.
• Big Daddy (1999)—Adam Sandler is a lazy law-school grad who adopts a five-year-old boy to impress his girlfriend.
• Cast Away (2000)—Tom Hanks is stranded on a deserted island with only a volleyball for a friend.
• Dear John (2010)—Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfriend bring Nicholas Spark's heartrending romance to life.
• Despicable Me 1 and 2 (2010 and 2013)—A supervillain finds redemption. The 4-movie collection is also available.
• Fight Club (1999)—"The first rule of fight club. . ." Brad Pitt and Ed Norton star in the adaptation of Chuck Palahniuk's propulsive novel.
• Firehouse Dog (2007)—Hollywood's top canine star gets lost and gets adopted into a shabby firehouse.
• Groundhog Day (1993)—Bill Murray is a grumpy weatherman stuck in a time loop.
• History of the World: Part 1 (1981)—Mel Brooks serves up campy fun for everything from the Old Testament to the French Revolution.
• How to Train Your Dragon (2014)—An animated adaptation of the bestselling fantasy by Cressida Cowell.
• Kicking & Screaming (2005)—Will Ferrell is a soccer dad who goes to extremes.
• A. Confidential (1997)—Based on James Elroy's epic noir novel about corruption and murder in the City of Angels.
• Love And Basketball (2000)—Monica and Quincy grow up playing basketball together. And along the way, they catch feelings.
• Marmaduke (2010)—A suburban family adjusts to a new neighborhood with their rowdy pets in tow.
• Nanny McPhee and Nanny McPhee Returns (2006 and 2010)—Emma Thompson is a magical nanny who tames unruly children.
• Pretty Woman (1990)—"Big mistake. Huge. I have to go shopping now." Julia Roberts plays an LA prostitute who lands a pretty sweet gig.
• Rio (2011)—A domesticated macaw from small-town Minnesota embarks on an exotic adventure with the bird of his dreams.
• That Thing You Do! (1996)—Tom Hanks wrote, directed, and co-starred in this big-hearted musical comedy.
• The Waterboy (1998)—A surprising tackling ability gets Adam Sandler promoted from waterboy to team member of his college football team.

• 21 Jump Street (2012)—Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are a pair of underachieving cops sent to bring down a high school drug ring.
• Along Came Polly (2004)—Ben Stiller is an uptight newlywed who falls for an old classmate (Jennifer Aniston).
• Den of Thieves (2018)—Gerard Butler and 50 Cent star in this heist thriller.
• Eat Pray Love (2010)—Julia Roberts leads the sexy adaptation of Elizabeth Gilbert's globetrotting memoir.
• Fletch (1985)—Chevy Chase is an undercover L.A. reporter.
• King Kong (2005)—Naomi Watts, Jack Black, an Adrien Brody star in this Peter Jackson-directed update featuring the giant ape.
• Notting Hill (1999)—Hugh Grant is a bookshop owner who finds his life turned upside-down after he gets involved with movie star Julia Roberts.
• Play Misty for Me (1971)—Clint Eastwood is a radio disc jockey who's being stalked and terrorized by an obsessive fan.
• I.P.D.—Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds are officers in an afterlife law enforcement agency.
• The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Ultimatum, The Bourne Supremacy, and The Bourne Legacy—Based on Robert Ludlum's Jason Bourne series about a CIA assassin suffering from amnesia.
• The Dark Knight—When Heath Ledger's Joker wreaks havoc in Gotham, Batman (Christian Bale) is forced to take action.
• The Gentlemen (2020)—Matthew McConaughey plays an American expat trying to sell off his London marijuana empire.
• The Hangover Trilogy—"What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, except for herpes. That s*** will come back with you."
• The Mask of Zorro (1998) and The Legend of Zorro (2005)—Antonio Banderas plays the masked vigilante in these swashbucklers.
• The Nutty Professor I & II (1996 and 2000)—Eddie Murphy stars as a brainy scientist who hatches a plan to win the girl of his dreams.
• The Sting (1973)—Paul Newman and Robert Redford play grifters who team up to pull off the ultimate con in this Oscar-winner.
• This is 40 (2012)—Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann are a couple whose life is falling apart as they both approach a milestone birthday.
• Paddington (2014)—A young Peruvian bear travels to London in search of a home. Based on Michael Bond's classic series.
• Weed the People (2018)—This documentary explores the stories of families whose lives are caught up in the cannabis medicine controversy.
