Page was brilliant, his body measurements are spot on. I have used his work in practice and it is effective. Difficult to find all the stuff he used now though. Well worth reading

Solid Book on Foundational Dentistry

Dentist Melvin Page and anthropologist Leon Abrams believe that it takes a 25% imbalance of body chemistry to cause teeth to decay. After 30 years and 40,000 blood tests, Dr. Page discovered the biochemical cause of tooth decay and gum disease: a disturbance in the ratio of calcium to phosphorus in the blood. When the amounts of calcium or phosphorus in the blood deviate from normal levels, or if they are not in the exact proportion of 2.5 parts calcium to one part phosphorus, minerals are withdrawn from the dentin and bone, resulting in tooth decay. The book talks about Dr. Page's system of glandular balancing, the glands, dietary advice, and several of Dr. Page's case studies.
